Thanks ‘Dana Secure’ — 100% Protection With a Single Scan
Dana is now providing buyers of Victor Reinz® brand products with even more effective protection from product piracy and counterfeits.
Thanks to the new Dana Secure Label, product authenticity can be verified quickly and easily using a smartphone with the Dana Secure App.
The label, which consists of a serialized QR code with an integrated hologram that contains a unique digital fingerprint, immediately indicates whether the product is genuine Dana or a dangerous counterfeit when scanned using the app. This authentication delivers certain results: the QR code and fingerprint cannot be copied. The label is on the product packaging but is sometimes directly on the product too.
The Dana Secure label and app further benefit the customer beyond authenticity verification. The Dana Secure App provides customers with direct access to detailed product and technical service information as well as installation instructions for replacement parts.
