With the new exclusive repair thickness for cylinder-head gaskets, Dana offers the perfect solution for reliable
sealing of reworked cylinder-heads and cylinder blocks in Opel Ecotec engines. The repair thickness is
0.25 mm thicker than the original. After necessary surface machining, this thickness thus offers best sealing
results up to this measurement.

Caution: After the cylinder-head and cylinder block have been machined, the surface roughnesses must be
in a tolerance band between 7 μm and 20 μm. The waviness value should not exceed 20 μm.
